Oxford

Oxford, a stunning city in central southern England, revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. Whether you are visiting Oxford for the first or tenth time, there is always something new to discover. The Bodleian Library is one of the oldest and biggest libraries in Britain. The Bodleian is rich in Oriental manuscripts and collections of English literature, local history, and early printing. Situated next to The Bodleian Library, it’s hard to not notice the Sheldonian Theatre, with its Neoclassical style D-shaped building that projects out onto Broad Street. The Sheldonian was the first significant architectural project of Christopher Wren and provides accessible guided tours tours and events all year round. Pulteney Bridge is another popular spot, where you can enjoy its elegant arches and the cascading water from the weir beneath. Inspired by Ponte Vecchio in Florence, and lined by shops on both sides, Pulteney Bridge spans the River Avon.
