Our beautiful, all-inclusive, luxury home has been purposefully built to include an impressive selection of facilities, amenities, and services to be enjoyed by all residents. Ridgeway Rise Care Home has something for everyone, whether it’s our cinema sessions showing an old classic or recent release, afternoon tea in our landscaped gardens, or beauty treatments in the hair & beauty salon.

We strive to provide a wide range of amenities and opportunities that enable our residents to live their lives to the fullest. From quiet afternoons reading to gardening activities, our activities and amenities have been carefully selected to provide residents with a lifestyle rich in variety and choice.

Beautiful En-suite Rooms

At Ridgeway Rise Care Home we proudly provide accommodation for 73 residents, each attractively decorated and fitted with an en-suite wet room. The décor and furniture has been carefully selected to provide a welcoming and homely feel. All bedrooms are equipped with everything residents require, including furniture, Wi-Fi, central heating, a Nurse Call System and a television, all designed to provide optimum comfort and relaxation. Residents are welcome to invite visitors to their rooms and we encourage them to bring any of their favourite personal items or furnishings that will help their space feel personalised and like a home-away-from-home.

Ridgeway Rise Care Home presents residents with all they need to enjoy the finer things in life. Mealtimes play a prominent role in the day-to-day-life for our residents, and as a result, we have curated a dining experience that residents enjoy every day. Dining with us guarantees an elegant atmosphere and delectable cuisine produced by our in-house chefs. Our culinary staff is glad to provide a regularly changing menu made up of high-quality ingredients sourced locally. We happily accommodate dietary and cultural preferences and requirements to ensure everyone is satisfied and enjoys meals times with us.

Our cinema sessions offer the ideal opportunity for residents to relax and escape for a few hours. We are thrilled to be able to bring the pleasures the cinema brings to our residents, complete with comfortable armchairs, a large screen, popcorn, and refreshments. Our extensive list of film titles spans a wide range of genres, ensuring that no matter what type of film our residents wish to watch, there is something suited for everyone.

Landscaped Gardens

Residents are encouraged to enjoy our therapeutic landscaped gardens; with beautiful plants and greenery and the buzz of visiting wildlife, it is the perfect place to relax. Our enclosed gardens provide a safe space for our residents to enjoy the outdoors; equipped with furniture allows for al fresco dining when the weather is nice and residents are able to participate in gardening, tend to our flower beds, vegetable patch, and maintain the bird tables all year round.

Activities Programme

Our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to creating fun and stimulating entertainment through a weekly activity programme for our residents. From inviting entertainers into our home, such as singers and therapy pets to partaking in group sing-a-longs, quizzes, film days, and baking, there’s always something exciting going on at Ridgeway Rise Care Home. We welcome suggestions from residents and strive to present all residents with activities that entice them each week.

Ridgeway Rise is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and electronics such as communal iPads and computers which allow residents to enjoy face-to-face contact with friends and family, day or night. Residents regularly enjoy the additional benefits technology brings such as browsing the internet, playing online games, or shopping online.

Telephone Points

We strive to provide convenience for all residents, including equipping rooms with its own telephone point so residents can call friends and family in the privacy of their own room, at any time of day or night.

Communal Spaces

Throughout the home residents can select from a handful of comfortable communal spaces. Designed to be enjoyed with fellow residents and encourage socialising, our home is set up for residents to be able to enjoy the benefits of group living.
