Valentine’s Day

The residents and team at Ridgeway Rise had a day filled with love (and chocolate) this Valentine’s Day.

The celebrations started with a competition for the team members. They were asked to collect as many paper hearts as they could find. Our activity team hid them well all over the Home. The winners received a bubbly surprise.

Every resident received a goodie bag with chocolate and a heart shaped tag reading ‘You Are Loved’. On this special day we remembered all the loved ones we loved and those we miss. We decorated our memorial tree in the garden with dedication letters, mentioning people close to our hearts.

In the afternoon, we played Match that Couple game with famous celebrities and memorable characters from movies.

Everyone had a wonderful time.
